Guitarist and composer Iver Cardas is an exciting addition to the jazz scene in New York City. Son of two renowned classical musicians in his home country of Norway, he is as passionate about European classical music as he is American jazz. He has performed all over Scandinavia, the UK and played at the Standard Bank festival in South Africa
In November 2021 Iver was awarded 1st prize at the International Jarek Smietana Jazz Guitar Competition in Krakow, Poland
